Ronen HaTemani

Tucked away in the mystical city of Tzfat is a restaurant with no official title but plenty of visitors. Simply known as Ronen’s Place or sometimes Lahuhe Original, Ronen the Yemenite, chef and owner, is whipping up some classic Yemenite dishes with plenty of warmth and personality. Ronen has plenty of personality all his own and from the moment you interact with him it is clear he wants his patrons to have a good time. Maybe too good of a time, serving a lovely combination of wine and qat, a plant that gives one a distinct high or buzz. There is also plenty of singing and dancing to go along with the meal.
